• I can't remember when I wasn't driving something even at a very young age. As for who taught me, I think that I was born with some of the feel that I use in driving but, when you grow up in the Andretti household, there are no shortage of teachers.
• To me, Andretti means racing and passion.
• I?m 19 years old. I have plenty of time if I am going to do anything, but it?s definitely in the back of my mind. F1 is something I want to have a go at one day. But it has to be right ? that?s what it comes down to. But, like I said, I?m 110 percent happy with where I am right now.
• I feel good about the qualifying run. We've really worked on the race setup. We'll have to get a good start. My main concern is getting the NYSE car with the lead group right away. If we can do that, then we'll be good. The qualifying run was the quickest lap of the weekend for the NYSE car. But, after my run I just really wanted to see TK (Tony Kanaan) keep the pole. This is a good mile-and-a-half oval and I am ready for tomorrow's race."
• I couldn’t tell you what was wrong out there today. I don’t know what else to say. I don’t know what happened but it felt like my front and rear wings were upside down. There was no grip on the NYSE car today."
• In my driving, I've done nothing different since (the win in 2006) ... It came that early (in my career), and I thought I should only improve from there. Everything's just gotten tougher, especially the competition. We've led a lot of laps this year (330), but we've just been unable to capitalize.
• The best thing Dan did was put in his time at the shop. There's no other way to do it. It's how you learn.
• I plan on being a sponge all year and see how quickly we can adapt. I can't imagine doing this from Nazareth.
• There's a lot of good memories with that, too.
• It's my first feel for running in traffic. You have to get the feel for losing down force and play with that. Nothing at all has surprised me so far. We just have to learn to play in traffic.
• I'm learning who I can trust and who I can't. I can't believe he did that to me. He turned right into me with the right front (wheel). Now I've been Cheever-ed.
• I would have to say all he needs is a little bit to go his way. If a little bit goes his way, I think it can happen for him this year.
• You definitely have to respect this place, as we learned in the past with my father and my grandfather – both had a lot of unfortunate luck here.
• Driving race cars at our level is a lot more physical than anyone can imagine. Fitness is paramount. Like most of the other drivers I have a full physical fitness regiment but the best training of all is actually seat time in a race car.
• I do a lot of cardio-vascular work; running, biking and elliptical. My weight workouts consist of lighter weights with more reps. As I said before, testing and racing the car is the best way to keep fit for my job. As for other sports, I am pretty good at tennis.
• I knew at about nine years old, when I first started running go-karts. Just watching my father and grandfather do their thing, I wanted to be exactly like them. I pushed myself very hard to make that happen.
• There are no real disadvantages, other than the fact that expectations to perform well are high. But I expect that of myself, so that's no problem.
